U.S. Naval chief of operation Admiral Gary Roughead receives guard of honour in New Delhi. He was received by Indian Naval chief Admiral Nirmal Verma. U.S. Naval chief is on a weeklong visit to India and was accompanied by U.S. naval delegation. The purpose of his visit is to conduct a yearly exercise which is known as Malabar exercise that begins on 23 April. The exercise is carried out for the interaction between the two Navys.
